I run CA's latest firewall and anti-virus programs. I keep getting
the message that my computer may be in danger etc at turn on. Is
there a safe way to just remove the red shield and it's whole
program(s) forever?

I have an old HP LaserJet 6MP that is nearly bombproof. It's like
the Energizer bunny. It started having feeding trouble a couple
months back but that stopped when I put it on a solid surface instead

later x40+ which is tinny... It's small and does not have an optical drive.

I still have two HP 4ML printers. One for me and one for my daughter.
They were originally almost $1k. Slow as molasses by today's
standard, but excellent text print and very reliable.
It is getting difficult to get good rebuilt cartridges, and the new
