Probably the best way is to just buy a book and start coding. As to
what to code you could look around for an open source project to
join. Parallel to this a class at the local community college will
help credential you.
Do you already have a clearance?

Matthew,
No clearances, but do know of a back door to get one.
Community College sounds like a good idea.
Open Source - would Mozilla be one of those using Java?

I don't think that Mozilla is Java based. Sourceforge would be the
place to check to see what Java based open sourced projects are out
there.

Java has always been easy to learn since they have always given both the
compiler and a set of tutorials away. Not to mention that the API
documentation is also publicly (and freely) available. The tutorials
(called the trails) are available at

Well, if this were actually true, MS's 90% market share (or whatever it is)
would mean that ~90% of the electorate is conservative, which makes the
results of the last election somewhat surprising.
Yes and no.
If you look at a Blue/Red map of the last election the red is
concentrated in urban areas with a high density of population and the
blue is in most of the rest of the area.
So if you extrapolate the data and say higher income or more urban
people use Mac's and the less urban

I may have mixed up my colors, but the urban areas (high density
population/cities) voted overwhelmingly democratic while the less
dense areas (rural/suburban) areas voted overwhelmingly republican.
The map I saw showed about 80% of the land mass voted republican and
20% voted democratic.
Marcio.

Zune Pass is pretty good. Basically, for $15/month you have access to *all*

expire in a month or so, but

Yeah, I do that too. It's the exact opposite of what you'd expect as
far as the colors' symbolism. Blue is liberal and red is conservative.
