hi, i plan to make some changes to licq. there are things that shoudl be built, but aren't being built. i also want to add a gtk based licq plugin. there are actually people out there who think that licq = have to use qt, i would like to see that changed. the gtk based plugin does not have all

Hey folks, The latest cooker initscripts have initlog linked to libpopt, but libpopt is in /usr/lib and is not available (for those of us who segment our filesystems beyond /) immediately at boot. This cause the bootup sequence to fail nicely and caused an hour or so of frustration. Same basic

The lates cooker off the mirrors doesn't seem to work. When doing a expert/development install via ftp off a local machine that i mirrored off of 2 different mirror sites i get "Cannot find hdlists" during install.

i'm having the same problems...though it appears from the several changes to the base folder, that someone is working on it, they've not yet got it right...for a while it demanded the hdlist.cz2, which wasn't there...i renamed hdlist to that, and got to a next level of error, "no dependencies

I love the new package selection tool. It's much easier to figure out what is getting installed and what is not. I especially like the ability to click on "all" and select individual packages. Very nice. Very good job. I love cooker :).

I hope that the new helix mandrake rpms that are comming will support enlightenment... sawmill is cool but I like My enlightenment!! other than that doing a carefull upgrade of most of the rpms that came with 7.0 worked good -DarkWlf
