Upgraded to gnucash 1.6.0-2 and found it segfaults unless python 2.1-1
is upgraded also. Mandrake update does not list python 2.1-1 as a
dependency.

I ve installed Lm8.0 with recommended configuration, everything great, except
apache!
I could not startup httpd or http-perl daemon, when i tried to start it
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
it said [Failed]
As I am a newbie, I dont know how to fix this problems..

via the tar.gz (from the www.rpm.org site) -- I built the rpm package as
the prebuilt binaries didn't work. After installing the new rpm
package, I upgraded my locales packages (noted it on an earlier post)

2.4.5-5mdk kernel does NOT LIKE the system. It suffers from (I think)

Any word on KDE updates? I did a clean install two days ago,
and KDE is nonfunctional. I remember seeing on the list that KDE

were going to wait until after they release 2.2Beta1. Are they
on schedule? As far as I can see, they're still 2.2Alpha on their

Okay, finally got this evil X server up and running properly with the
r128 driver..
Was a couple of things.
I needed the line:
Option UseFBDev
in my video card device section... If I don't have it, it crashes on
startup..
