1. Hitting Cancel during the X config screen in install (Resolution screen
only) will restartx config and return a
libgnomedbcomponents was part of libgnome-db0-devel or gnome-db-0.2.3
but appears to be missing from all the gnome-db* libgnome-db0* packages
it is required by glade-0.6.2.

I can't start Konqueror since I upgraded my Cooker machine to KDE 2.2
(with urpmi --auto-select). The only thing I get is a 13M sleeping
process. Strace does not show anything interesting:

I dunno what the deal with that was - it started working after a reboot. No
packages were changed or anything that I can think of for it to just not work

Set the folder your filtering your cooker list into to a mail list (right

I've upgraded to the latest gdm package and it still doesn't work with the
default gdm.conf.
If have to disable the face browser so I can log in. If there is no fix for
this bug, the default config should disable the browsing feature.

Altough a good idea, i find it cumbersome (it uses linuxconf, errrgh),
inefficient (it saves everything in /etc), and not working (error message
"could not activate xxx profile"). As author is RedHog, who seems to be

When Aurora is running, logs are still sent to /dev/tty12 hence we
cannot see them. Could Mandrake 8.1 send the logs to /dev/tty11 instead?
Just need to modify a line in /etc/syslog.conf, but it would be better
if done by Mandrake, I think.
