Hopefully I will find some time to investigate further.

further, unfortunately I can't right now.

this doesn't seem to do anything, as the Rage pro is autodetected correctly.
Is there anything i can do to get decent video performance?
Thanks

Try www.blackdown.org
They have a 1.2.2 JVM (not sure on whether it is actually a final
release yet) for ppc Linux.
The Flash plugin will need to be unarchived and installed in your
mozilla/netscape plugins folder - i.e. untar/gzip the archive e.g. 'tar
-xvzf flash_linux.tar.gz' (if it is
see it happening anytime soon, if ever.

? The mod_ssl package I have in my latest rsync
is still 2.7.1. If I go back to apache-1.3.14, openssl-0.95a, mod_ssl
2.7.1, then everything seems to work.
If I install from the latest cooker and then rpm -e mod_ssl I get a
working server, but no SSL. :(
Guess I am going back to 1.3.14 for now.

I am having the exact same problem with a fresh
install, I chose medium security. su does work in the console vt's but not
within any X terminals or applications and the unix\:0 file appears very
large. I have tried, Eterm, gnome term, rxvt, xterm, and a couple others I
can't think of right now.
/mdkinst/lib/libc.so.6)
I don't have rpm4 or glibc 2.2 on my MDK 7.2 box that I use to make the
CD's.
I really appreciate the effort here, hopefully we can get the libraries
straightened out.
Thanks,

Ok, I am done now. That was waaaay too wordy.

the rpm2header from your version of rpm, instead of the 4.0
version that comes with cooker and should not try to load librpmio.so.0.
This has worked for me. Although I think they are changing the scripts and
possibly trying to statically link the libraries, so this could be broken
also.

on. I guess I just don't understand enough
yet.
I would prefer to not touch my 7.2 box, and yet still be able to create my cd's there. Anyone else have ideas?

Thanks, but this does not work on the current
mkcd.p
linking problem? Could we get a statically linked version
of rpm2header? Or do I need to try to get rpm4 on my 7.2 box?
I would rather not try the latter, as rpm4 is linked with glibc2.2 and I
actually do use the 7.2 box and don't want to mess that much with it.
Thanks again,

Ok, I should have read the rest of the posts before
replying. I changed a line in misc/rpmtools.pm from rep/misc/rpm2header to
/usr/bin/rpm2header and it worked for me also.

I thought about the rpm2header bein
librpmio.so.0, but which package provides
this? Also, I have made .iso's before on this same box and can't figure
out what changed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mkcd.pl, version 0.1.8 works perfectly. I got a clean install with no

Setting it seems to make no difference
BTW: Is there somewhere I can go to see if this has already been hased to
