Same problem showed up in 9.2 Beta1 and Beta2.
Compose a message in KMail, the choose the ABC toolbar icon for spell
checking. It reports it can not proceed as ASpell is not confgured. I
checked and the ASpell rpms appear to be installed.

In the file /usr/lib/rpm/macros
We have:
%_repackage_dir /var/spool/up2date
However, the directory /var/spool/up2date doesn't exist, so when
repackaging rpms, they are silently discarded.
I think that repackage_dir should be changed to something more
appropriate.

The hardware is one of these new VIA mini-ITX boards with an Eden 500
cpu, Trident Cyberblade video, tested recently in LinuxFormat Mag.
Mandrake 8.2 installs ok.

Ok I have tested the beta2 for 9.0 of mandrake linux. Here are the
following bugs that I still experenced:
My CD Burner still isnt being detected as a cdrom device instead it is
detected as a scsi device. Which meens that I cant add in the cd icon on
my destop nor can I mount and unmount
According to texstar a new beta will be released every 15 days. So beta
2 should be comming up sometime next week.

away. Choosing xmms from the window list, or cycling through the
windows seems to select it, but it still is invisible.
I am using fluxbox, with the mandrake rpms from the fluxbox site.

Don't know if this is really a bug in beta3 or not, but after some
time running xmms, the main xmms window disappears. The playlist and
equalizer are still there, and the everything still works
