well, i installed the Streaming Server, htdig (tools), linuxconf (don't know why,,,
at the command line prompt) and successufly denied myself access to publish (or put)
files on the http. lolguess it rewrote a passwd file or something. @^$@#

just the fact that it was already configured in some areas
that it didn't work after a #1 and #3. so after doing #2 also, it finally

ls mod does not show the "ide-floppy" loaded either.
keep getting an "input/output error".
