, as far as reliable goes, sunet.se is more so then sunsite.no, but
sunsite.no gets files sooner when Mandrake uploads..

This seems to be an ongoing problem that does not seem to wanna stay
fixed. Several files from sunsite vs sunet.se are out of sync, mostly in
the contribs.
I am hoping this gets fixed soon.

Still not updating and still has a too many files open error..

The argument list given in the mkcds script could be more descriptive.
What have I done wrong?

Why did mdk make the decision to put kde3 beta1 in contrib instead of
cooker? kde2 beta1 was put into cooker as soon as it came out. kde3 beta
1 is far more stable then kde2 beta 1 was.. Maybe I just don't
understand mandrake logic..
Jorg
I used rpmdrake to install autoirpm-3.1-2mdk and here are the results.
installing /local/cooker/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/autoirpm-3.1-2mdk.i586.rpm
Died at /usr/sbin/autoirpm.uninstall line 8.
error: execution of %preun scriptlet from autoirpm-2.1-6mdk failed, exit

BTW, why is the shortcut to /usr/lib/rpm/rpmq called rpmquery? Why not
call it rpmq? It would be much faster to type.

If you try to compile cvs gal, it requires gnome-print using a
gnome-config --modversion print
which fails
Fresh cooker install w/ reformat..
when you click on contacts in evolution, disk access goes to 100% with CPU
and system becomes unresponsive. calender does not work either.
Jorg

Unfortunately, there isnt a cooker package for me to test it

XFree86-4.1.0-15mdk is 4.1.0.1 prerelease
XFree86-4.1.0-20mdk is 4.1.0 release
why the regression?

months for 90 testing. you can try out gnome two there as well ;P.
well, cooker used KDE 2 alpha 1 when it came out.
why not use KDE3? Get the KDE3 bugs worked out along with the development of

Once Kmail receives all the mail the first time, it stops trying to get the
mail. I have it setup to receive mail every one minute and it does not do it.

Why use PNG format when JPG will make files considerably smaller, thus
getting more files on the first cd?
