My configuration is
Onboard Prosavage Controller

However as explained below, when i clicked on the
empty Graphics field it configured immediately and it
worked.

Hi Friends,
When i install the MDK, the drakconf should give me an
option to save the contents of the CD into Harddisk,
so that further Add/Remove programme will not require
inserion/removal/changing of the CD's. This may need
an additional 5 minutes, but the benefit will be there

Thanks for the confirmation. On a side note, my sound
mixer configuration is lost on every reboot. This
happened in MDK9.0 and now in MDK9.1 beta1. Is this a
feature or bug?
Cheers.,

Hi,
After editing manually the /etc/mdoules.conf i can get
sound working.
I'd like to confirm that this is a bug in MDK9.1

The entry snd-via82xx is the correct entry. But
Mandrake tools(not sure which tool!!)makes this entry
as snd-via8233.
Once i manually change this sound works. In add
Hi,

Robert,
Pls. send the version number of your packages like

Dear Florin,
I installed all the packages. Some conflicts reported
from draksec package for the file, /usr/sbin/draksec,
when installing drakx-newt package.
I forced the installation and everything installed.
Pls. see the results below.
Here are the results. I'm getting the same error
message
Flroin,
I repeat again for your information. there is no
draknet in my machine. So i'm running drakconnect. I
configure my n/w connection. Now i run, drakgw,

Dear Florin,
The drake tools are really simple and straighforward
to use.

work.To recap here is the procedure to simulate my
problem
I install Mandrake9.0 rc2 from CD. While installing
nstall any updated packages.
Sorry for the delay in replying your question.
