Thank you for your help. It was detected as a yamaha xwave
direct 128 by lothar. But I remedied the problem for now. A
friend gave me a sound blaster 16 card and I put it in and
setit up with sndconfig no problem. Now my sound works
perfectly. Again thank you for your assistance. I've have
learned

it detects my sound card as a Yamaha OPL3 SAX2. I then hear like one
second of Linus then it plays the midi w/o a problem. Now When Ever I
play any sound it skips. I then try Lothar and it detects the wrong
yamaha card. Please
