The default install gets the ide-scsi stuff with an append= on the lilo.conf, so that's probably taken care of. However, it leaves /dev/cdrom pointing to /dev/hdc rather than pointing it to /dev/scd0 as it ought. I'd look into that possibility as the source of your trouble. On Thu, 16 Mar 2000
