After installing 82beta4, installing two RPMs post install, and then
doing some config changes, I got rpm segfaults.
It turns out that RPM is segfaulting if ldap is listed before files in

every rpm from cooker, it did so and they were all bad. I didn't

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem. I'm in
the process of update my Mandrake 8.0 system with a
lot of the packages from the Mandrake cooker. However
at some point I seem to have broken rpm I think.
When I type the following command :

Hi,
the current rpm package segfaults on real i586. Reproducable on
a Intel Pentium 166MMX and a Cyrix MediaGX (Geode) Processor.
I get a core file - so anyone's interested in gdb output..?
It seems to work fine on i686+
maybe an optimization problem ..?

rpm --rebuilddb bought me a couple of further -Uvh's, but the segfaults
return shortly afterward.
