I was looking for a way to do automatically an hdparm at boot. Grep'ing
throug init scripts I found some lines in rc.sysinit that do that automatic
hdparam at boot for the disks if
What I did :
(my ide doesn't support DMA)
To run in 32bit mode instead of 16:
I created an exec. file /etc/rc.d/init.d/disk32
contains:
hdparm -c 1 /dev/hda
hdparm -c 1 /dev/hdb
(have 2 hd's)
Selected it to start-up at boot.
