I have the following problem with using sound with mandrake:
Soundcard is a Soundblaster awe32 pnp. Using harddrake i am able to
correctly setup the soundcard and the testsounds being played are all ok.
Harddrake correctly modifies /etc/modules.conf. After that i can use xmms
and thin
When I first installed cooker, I did get some sound
with gnome. After logging out and back in, I don't.
Before I start the gnome session,
[jean@rocks jean]$ cat .gnome/sound/system
[settings]
start_esd=true
event_sounds=true
But as soon as gnome starts
