maybe wrong thread).

That is strange. I had no problem even with beta3. However, not with 8.0 I
have tons of applications dumping out. The ones I get to recompile with
kgcc instead of gcc seem to work after that. However, vmware crashes big

I am sorry. I guess I don't understand, because I have successfully
installed VMware both at beta2 and beta3. Applying the patches worked
great for me. So I have no idea why they would break. Now, I will try the
final release, but I am betting that will work too. Good luck.
