To my knowledge, only 133 mobo's can utilize 133 and 100 RAM. 100 mobos cannot utilize
133 RAM.
Check www.ramseeker.com for the cheapest RAM prices, as well as upgrade guides.
Everymac.com is also a good resource for this - lookup your G3, and he'll tell you
what RAM you can/cannot use.

Hello everybody,
so I managed to install Mandrake PPC 8.0. Works fine for me. The installer is
now working pretty well (thanks folks !). It seemed as though I had to set

JFYI, funny thing is, when I hit the boot option l at the yaboot prompt I

Hi David,
could it be that you did not started the keytable daemon ?
Look into drakxservices if it is started !
Also you can configure the keyboard in the Mandrake Control Center !
After my first installation on my iBook 2001, I had a keytable problem,
too, what I could not solve. So I

If yaboot didn't support ResierFS, then you would need an ext2
partition for the kernel, a root, and a HFS bootstrap, at minimum so
why not just make one for booting?

Not according to the person I talked to. If you had add-ons, like
