Mandrake desktop :-(
In the meantime OS/X seems pretty stable for my needs - just a little
slower than I would like it.

Would you be willing to entertain a suggestion? Is there anyway that we
could get a period of a few days where cooker is not changing and then
someone rebuild all files in the base directory so that those of us who
would really like to try to install it has somewhat of a chance?
Hmmm
I wonder what it would take in $$$'s contribution to MandrakeSoft for
someone to build a set of install ISO's (that work) from Cooker-PPC? I
am sure there are several users like me who would like to go to cooker,
but have been having serious problems installing from cooker over a

OK, I am almost completly back operational after a very painful change to the
white ibook from the i586 world. I now have my KDE3 back, my kmail and almost
everything else I use. I have not found any major issues with Beta2 that I
would consider a show stopper.
However, a few things I could us

How do you do a right mouse click, like to get item menus, in kde?

How can I use the OS/X extended HFS file system from within Mandrake?

Hello,
I have a new toy. White iBook, model #m8413. I really like OSX, but
I like my Linux better :-).
The install fails as soon as it tries to locate the hard drive. The
drive is a 20Gig drive, with OS/X on the first partition of 9.3 Gig and
the remainder is "unformatted - Free space".
