reports. It's much easier to read and get through your email if you
break out the issues in separate emails. "mandrake 8.2 b2 report (clean
install)" really doesn't help me in deciding if I need to read your 4.5k

k, thanks. I tried disabling v4l before (and glx). but, didn't take dbe
ever. in this case it has happen only once that my screen crapped out .
if it happens again, then I will do as you say here.
if it happens again that means that glx is not the problem and maybe I
could use it again :-) xscreen

What happens is that the screen starts to display all kinds of widgets,
and the are all over the
forgot to mention that the bonobo-moniker-archiver did crashed when
logged on to gnome ...
but, this is a known issue.

Follow the installation in an ibook (first generation) and this is what
I have after booting:
chose install-novideo (the only one that works)
chose the default package instalation (except for
