I agree with that, and yucko, when it is bad, the oil in it really has a
bad, rancid taste, and terrible odor, so you definitely would know.

Simon, it's just like any thing else, with a shelf life. Once opened, it
must be refrigerated. if kept too long, the oil in it can get an off taste,
and smell and taste rancid.
