Hi everyone,
Now that I think about it, the Chef Boyardee pizza kits had a powdered mix,
a can of pizza sauce and a small can of Parmesan cheese. Hot water is added
to the crust mix and it is more like yeast dough than biscuits.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like pizza sauce in a can

Sisi, no, you can't use all purpose if the recipe calls for self rising.
However, you can use self rising if recipe calls for all purpose. Self rising
already has salt and baking powder in it. Sometimes, I can tell the difference
in all purpose and self rising by the smell, but never by the

Note: I can give you a rough estimate of quantities. It all depends on the size
of the crust. Sometimes I make pizza for 1 just for myself and sometimes a
family size dish when I have company. So these are the engrediants and you guys

I ran into a tuna marinade that used apple mint jelly, horseradish, and sour

Howdy Charles,
I use an electric smoker and use hickory chips for most pork.
You can use Mosquite but I preffer to use that with beef.
I use the chunks and some chips to really get the smoke flavor and odor
started. Good luck,
Walt

We sort of think alike. I like either mesquite or hickory. Apple is good,
too, if you want a lighter sweeter smoke. I smoke hams for about 45 minutes
per pound. A lot of people consider the total amount of meat you are
smoking, but you're supposed to figure it on each piece. If a piece of
Hi Sisi,
I use the same amount of self rising to all purpose.
I think self rising has a saltier taste that's how I tell the difference.

Hi Charles,
My husband says he uses oak or pecan pieces along with hicory chips.
He soaks them in the pan that comes with the smoker for eight hours.
He says during cooking of meat for eight hours probably use two pan fulls.

Does anyone happen to have the directions for the nut bread mix that Pillsbury
makes? I found everything else but that.

Hi Charle,
You are right Apple is a weeter smoke flavor and it is good for pork.
For those just starting to smoke meats the higher up in the smoker is
hotter so if you want to slow smoke either have a huge cigar or put your
meat on the bottom racks of your smoker.
