Hi, Joy, If you want to freeze stew, my experience has been that potatoes don't freeze well; they become mushy. Mashed potatoes will freeze, on something like Shepherd's pie. But if you want to freeze stew, I would suggest omitting the potatoes and adding them later. Macaroni and cheese,

Hi all, can any one tell me two things. 1. can long grain rice be made in a slow cooker or crockpot? If so how? 2. Can long grain rice be baked in an oven? if so how? I'm using 1 cup rice so if I'm right I'd need 2 cups water is this right? thanks in advance. -- Lelia Email services
