Thank you for any pointers.

Dear Joseph,
Yes, it's possible, but not you don't get any real time updates like you do
for the protein.
Here's a link to the fine manual:

Dear Joe,
We'll need info from the experts, but as far as I'm aware it's not possible
to get the animation.

So, I hope the 6506 changes can be delivered in the next CCP4 update.

Dear Andrea,
I would suggest, if at all possible, to use a more recent version of
coot, or at least test it.
0.8.1 is almost 2 years old, and the new ones are available for debian
as tar files here:

Hi Ahmad
What happens if you center on your protein?
My best guess would be that your map has some dummy symmetry so you get a
lot of unit cells visible when you zoom out.

I think the (set-contour-by-sigma-step-by-mol *step on/off? imol*)
might be what you're looking for.
According to the manual it's also in the menu, but as stated I can't check
this right now.
Hope this helps!

Dear Paul
Congratulations on the release!
I've started using 0.9-pre recently instead of 8.9.2.
I like the menu changes and of course the new refinement menu and the way
it works.
The small dots on the CAs are truly very useful!
The glyco module is also very nice!
There's probably a ton more I'l
Dear Chen,
Please provide more information. This is not enough to help. A meaningful
response can't be expected if you do not provide more detailed information.

Use the wincoot from the above link and if this is the one you have already
tried, provide detailed
needed OpenSSL.
After some fiddling, I then removed libcurl.so.4.5.0 file from the
$COOT_HOME/lib/ folder and restarted /Coot/, after which I did not have
any problems.
Not sure exactly what the problem was here, so perhaps this is an FYI

Hi Smith
Don't worry about the gtk stuff, it shouldn't be necessary, I think that
error pops up all the time for me.
$ yum install fftw2
should hopefully fix the other library dependency.
(I found this easily online)
You don't say specifically, but I'm guessing you're not familiar with
