The message probably was not in the users INBOX because it was in a
file called Maildir in the location where courier _thinks_
I ended up deleting the test account I was using (sandy) and creating a
new one (alex) - both were just unix accounts, ie adduser - and it's
working now.

BROKEN PIPE.
That host has a PostFix installed. User of that host may send messages of
any size anywhere. But when I try to check its name by nslookup I see this:
"Non-existent host/domain".

I assume you are using Courier for SMTP, then? Because this is a job for
either your MTA or for Procmail. I don't use Courier for SMTP, but I just

on a per hosted domain basis?
For example, I want certain domains to require SMTP
authentication while others do not. Is there a way to do this in

Thanks, it alread was. There isn't anything different in RH AS 3 that
you know of. When I upgraded from 6.2 to 7.2 sendmail was compiled with
TCPWRAPPERS and that messed me up for a few hours until I realized that.
Could this be a non courier issue?
