I have just finished my first installation of courier imap. I'm trying to authenticate
via mysql database.
I started the authentcation daemon by running
/usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/authlib/authdaemond start
And also started both pop and imap.
I'm able to telnet to the pop
First, it was pointed out that I could utilze ESMTP's "auth" mechanism for
a better replacement of pop-before-smtp authentication. I wonder if
someone has a working example of this, perhaps with a mysql backend
database? (or db)
