All of our locations have a community outreach component connected to
local nonprofit organizations. We put on food drives, programs for at-

Hi Bruce,
If you are moving into a space where there are other units, consider asking
to add in a clause that give you first right of refusal should another
adjacent space nearby becomes available. It came in handy for us and we
were able to expand to another floor.

We are about to put in an offer on a vacant space to house a new
coworking group. Any and all items to include in the offer would be
very much appreciated. Some that I can think of:
- length of lease (1 or 2 years).
- is insurance included and what does it include?
- what about taxes and utilities

Hi Andrew.
We discussed this at our coworking owners' weekend in October @BLANKSPACES SM.
We all agreed that this visa would be great if better leveraged, etc. However,

association, or similar. And that's where we couldn'

Hi everyone, I'm considering starting a coworking space. I love the idea of

In my research, it seems difficult enough to breakeven just from selling shared
space at the 'full price'.

We've had 4 startups come out of The coIN Loft since last year. We
weren't trying to be innovative and we definitely weren't looking to
start new companies. We were just living life in community with each
other. One of the startups got $500,000 in angel financing.
When we started last year we thou

Dear all,
As a coworking space that has signed up to the Coworking Visa I just
wondered whether anyone:
1) has a sense of how much the Coworking Visa is being used; and
2) thinks that a common Coworking Visa logo/ brand that could be added to
membership cards/ fobs would be helpful to promot

I'd hate to use the term "evangelizing" because of the religious
implications, but one of the greatest barriers I have encountered is
educating people on the concepto of coworking. This has been a real
