Andrey,
I can only second that! It's especially appreciated that these impactful
changes land in time for M1.
Best regards
Sebastian

For n4js we are also suffering from this problem.

Project did work, though.
Thank you for looking into this.

I don't think that's true. Ed W also brought the option to the table, that
we could reassess the benefit of 4 release trains per year. Does this even
carry its own weight?
I'm fully aware of the fact
for that version.

Hi Ed,
thank you very much for providing all the insights and reports. This is
greatly appreciated!
When I checked the report for the Xtext marketplace entry, I saw a green
checkmark for the Juno release, even though the marketplace entry is only
for Oxygen and newer. What does that mean?

Hi,
that sounds like an interesting exercise. Thank you for taking the time and
the summarized findings, Ed.
Maybe it's worthwhile to derive some minimal sanity checks from here and
impose quality metrics for components on the release train? An integration
test for the preferences would be helpful
Hi,
I totally second Eds and Eds remarks here. All API policies and all the
bundle versioning schemes and careful changes in the past would be rendered
pointless with this move. I doubt that keeping the deprecated interfaces is
causing effort for the maintainers that is coming even remotely close
Seems like it happend again. Maybe someone can check whether it's a general
problem with the bugzilla or just my mail account.
I'll reopen the ticket https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=422440

There seems to be a problem with bugzilla notifications even though I'm
definitly on CC for bugs that changed today. In fact, I didn't get any email
since 22. Nov from bugzilla.
Has anybody else seen this, too?

Sebastian

Hi Ed,
Just because I'm curious:

Why do you find that helpful?
