Arthur,
The problem is back... I´m not sure if it happens after a new restart or
after the installation of the SQLServer 2005 but the problem returned. I
tried to run the command you sent me (RunLegacyCPLElevated.exe
shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "c:\program files (x86)\cvsnt\_cvsnt.cpl")

There was an optional update that I didn´t install early (Update for
Windows Server 2008 Server Manager x64 Edition). I decided to install it
and after the restart the problem disappeared. I don´t know the relation
but before the restart the error reported was occurring and after that

I´m doing tests on Windows Server 2008 and after have installed I´m not
able to use CVSNT. When I open the Control Panel it shows "CVSNT (Read

button available to click is "Change settings". When I click on it I got

I´v checked at the source and a new option (-M) of commit has been
created to suport an advertise only on screen, and it is not put into
the message. The problem is that I use WinCVS and the default option to
set the commit message (-m) cannot be changed.
I think the behaviour of the new option
effect of that. But if it is a new March Hare policy you should
at least warned about that.
Sorry to have bothered you, I will remove the message by myself until I
decide do buy or not the commercial version.

Hi Arthur,
The remote server is my main CVS server, installed on a Windows 2003
Server. The local server is running on my own workstation, with Windows
XP Pro. The client is my own workstation also.

But it´s the same account, it´s a domain admin account. I think the
maximum level of trace is 3 because I´ve tried 4 and the result was the
same. Any other ideas?

I created a local repository to test some upgrades of our validation
scripts. After changing the verifymsg to enabled the validation the
problems begun. I´m using CVSNT 2.5.03 (Scorpio) Build 2382 in both
servers (local and remote) and in my client also and the same commit
works fine for remote
