I have had a few problems with programs that need cygwin and come with
their own distribution messing up my path (eg octave). Could this be the
case in your case? Running setup again fixes it for me.

I want to run a java program from the XFree interface
(connected to an AIX system through XDMCP).
For all but one java program, this is perfectly OK.
The last java program hangs with an exception :

The xoncygwin tree on sourceforge is for the Native GDI development only.
We're trying to keep the tree on sourceforge up to date, but that is not our
primary concern.
