OK, I see what you mean. Certainly something to look for after 2.2 has
been released.

Hi,
I ported the code in https://github.com/fhrtms/darktable to the (at the point
in time) latest master of darktable (resides in branch "timelapse" in my

At the same time I contacted the author of the original code, who told me that

Hi,
For timelapse-darktable, indeed it does quite the same job but with
external tools (Java, octave, image magic)
Its main drawback is that there is no integration in darktable directly,
but it was OK for my use thou... Using darktable GUI fit the key frames
only.
Second drawback, it's using xmp

I tried it with 2 mice and touchpad — no luck. It works elsewhere
except those small button in DT. Well, strictly speaking even they work
but only sometimes (1 click of 10-20)

Did you maybe move the mouse away from the place where you clicked after you
right-clicked? The popup closes when losing focus.

No more idea then... I tried again and for me it works just fine, the
menu opens after every right-click. No issue on my side...

No, just plain Gnome Shell on Nvidia.

No I'm using it daily but maybe you're on Wayland?

Yes I can, e.g. I get bauhaus widgets right-clicking sliders.

I tried another PC and my problem remains the same. It just came into
my head that maybe this problem is linked with Gnome Shell?

Removed ~/.config/darktable — no results, same behaviour. Resetting
mouse settings with gsettings gave zero result too. I will try another
PC a bit later.

Exactly, it is nearly impossible to right-click to change settings of
over/under expose (all buttons, see screenshot). Left-click works
perfectly but right click doesn't work. Sometimes it takes 10 or 20
times to right-click for menu to appear. Other applications' right-
