immediately check any of these issues. However, the images being imported
are sample images I supplied and they were copied and pasted into a folder
on the computer without using DT. We were only asking DT to add to the

please verify if the path to the images or the filenames themselves have
non-ASCII characters. If yes, this is a known bug with how Windows manages
Unicode, and will be fixed for 3.6.1 (I think it's already fixed on
master). The workaround for the time being is to rename the path and/or
you may check the import preferences. By default the rating is taken from
camera exif - and some cameras codes no rating as 0. Since the initial
rating filter is set to >=1 the imported images arent displayed.

I am not yet on 3.6 bit would suggest you retry uninstalling using an
uninstaller tool for windows. I am using the free version of 'Any
Uninstaller' since years. It cleans deeper than a standard uninstall.
