I am not receiving all emails, just some. I didn't receive any that gave
information about the preset, only emails that indicated there was one.

I am using darktable-3.3.0+1057~g92fae0e6c-win64.exe, a dev build for
Windows 10. Every so often, I lose the ability to copy or paste in other
applications. I also use a clipboard app called Clibor. Since I run that
all the time I don't know if that plays a part in this. To fix the problem,

If you compress the history stack, it will update your xmp file. If you
don't want to compress, I believe the only way is to go to lighttable.

I usually name my duplicates, but the names are not showing up in the Title
slot in the image information display. As a first step to attempt to fix

What I was indicating was that for a beginner, it is tempting to think that
a good starting point is the jpg, but as I explained, that's not what dt is
designed for, nor what users want.

It's very tempting to want to start with the jpg setup and modify from
there. Using the basecurve is as close as darktable will come for a raw.
You can always convert a jpg to a tif and edit that, but you are starting
with all the changes made to produce the jpg and cannot get back to what
was orig
Sometimes when I attempt to use an xmp from a Play Raw dt crashes. I use
Windows, and I gather those xmps are from developmental versions of dt.
Does anyone else experience this? Is there something that can be done to
stop the crashes?
