Hey everybody,
i got a problem recently: My impression was, that my results got less sharp
on darktable 4.6 for windows. I installed dt 3.6 again, and while it didn't
work well with my new windows 11, the result was WAY better! I can include
the images if that makes sense. I edited both in a simila
Hey everyone,
i use darktable (same problem in 3.4.1.1 or 3.4.0, on Windows 10) as a
plugin for gimp, that means, i try to open a raw file with gimp, gimp
then triggers darktable to take over. Some things look weird though,
most notably my 'tone curve' is invisible, including the grid and the

Hey everyone,
darktable used to have a nice method to remove moire, which i often
got with bird feathers. The module was called something like "denoise
(bilateral means)", you had to tweak it quite a bit there, but it

I have to agree: I use Darktable and GIMP on Windows 10 and it runs
very well, I tried to install it on my older computer (running Ubuntu)
and it worked too, but not as smoothly. You probably need to be a
Linux expert to set up a linux system to give you the same performance

Hey man,
i got 3.0.2, is that what you have? On Windows.. I always use masks in
several modules, no idea whether this is the 'pro' method:
- create a mask 1 in module 1
- create dummy mask 2 in module 2
- open mask manager
- right click the group of the module 2,
- add mask 1 (under 'add existing
