In fact, it appears to work only if the picture is selected and the mouse
In the french translation, it is modules->bandeau->cloner l'image.
In fact, this one was already set up to d.
After several tests, I conclude that it works only if the picture is both
selected and hovered upon; only one action doesn't appear to be sufficient.
But once you know the trick, it's OK.
modules->film strip->duplicate (sorry, whatever that is in french..)

I've reset to 'default', just in case, though I'd not changed anything in
the shortkey settings.
I eventually found out a 'cloner' line in the shortkey tree, in modules ->
images sélectionnées -> cloner but it was empty. Is the Ctrl-D shipped as a
default setting?

Apparently, this shortkey wasn't set up. And didn't appear even when I
click on the 'default' button. I had to add it by myself, but it's working
in lightroom mode only.
Did I miss a specific setting for the darkroom?

Is there a way to clone a picture, without going back to the lightroom mode?
When I'm working in the darkroom mode, and I'm satisfied with a first
version of the picture, it often happens I want to create another version,
a B&W for example; currently, I'm going to the lightroom to clone the first

Hello
I found it quite hard to locate the PDF version of the manual; for some reason
my brain didn't seem to parse the text in w.d.o/resources/ the right way.
I have a small suggestion to improve the wording of that web page.
I'm not sure how to get access to the source of the web page so my "pat
Hi pascal,
thanks a lot, but I have a problem with your file, Darktable write me
"version non coherente du module colozone 2!=3" and the result is
totally blur without any details...
You know what is the problem ?

I've just sent a .xmp to Ary but your version is better than mine!
Would you share your .xmp?
I'm eager to see how you did kill the "pinky" spot in the sky.

Hi everybody,
I just publish on my blog a post about developement of the same image,
with lightroom and darktable.
The picture was VERY noisy (ISO 6400, at night), and on that point, I
must admit that I didn't achived to reduce the noise in Darktable as
well as in Lightroom.
