In the french translation, it is modules->bandeau->cloner l'image. In fact, this one was already set up to d. After several tests, I conclude that it works only if the picture is both selected and hovered upon; only one action doesn't appear to be sufficient. But once you know the trick, it's OK.

I've reset to 'default', just in case, though I'd not changed anything in the shortkey settings. I eventually found out a 'cloner' line in the shortkey tree, in modules -> images sélectionnées -> cloner but it was empty. Is the Ctrl-D shipped as a default setting? I just added the shortkey, and it
