I've reset unity and removed an indicator and now my setup occupies 250 MB
with only nvidia-settings and terminal window running. And this is for a
screen with a measly 1920 x 1080. But it's unity...
When running DT and a few RAFs it rises to 320 MB. Exporting a R

I read there were compilation issues and 1.6.2 was reasonally
up-to-date. I'm on Mint Qia

Roman,
Thanks for the explanation, it's good to know about such limitations. Is
this in the manual?
(I'd be happy to contribute by adding edited versions of the information
gleaned from the mailing list if someone can review my edits.)

the lensfun db has version 0,28 as listed in synaptic and used by darktable.

I downloaded the bz2-file, but where do I have to copy the content to
get the new version working with darktable?
Thanks in advance for your help.
