Hi,
I think Darktable 1.1 doesn't properly restore the state of the "mix" control
in the Equalizer. I select a clarity preset and then dial down the mix to 0.5.
If I go down one step in the history and then return to the top (or if I switch
to lighttable and then come back to darkroom), the mix

Actually, I don't think the OK button is the solution. I like how changes are
applied live, I just would like to have undo. The two aren't incompatible with
one another. A text editor, for example, applies the changes live, and every
keystroke adds a step to the undo history.

I agree with you, Ivan. I also use a fake operation to create the proper steps
in the history (usually, I just toggle the over/underexposed indicator). I
don't know what would be the ideal solution. This problem is a consequence of
the fact that changes are applied live, without an "OK" button.
What a great improvement! At least for someone coming from 1.0.5.
At
first look, the biggest gains for me are the much improved sharpness in
darkroom view, the better performance (no more pixelated
images while working), the look and smoothness of the new controls, the
picker in Tone curve

Hi,
How does softproofing work in Darktable? I select a printer profile as the
softproof profile. When I press S, the "soft proof" message appears, but after
"working" the image looks exactly the same. In Gimp, there is a noticeable
difference with the same profile when softproofing. (It's a L

Actually, there seems to be a problem on how the lens is identified in the
lensfun database. I will let them know. Nevermind my previous message.

Subject: [Darktable-users] Lens Correct
Hi,
The lens correction plug-in doesn't seem to be working for me. The camera and
lens (Canon 450D, 18-55 mm kit lens) are recognized properly, but no distortion
correction is applied. I remember an older version of Darktable working just
fine for this camera & lens combination.
