You can use xicc and xcalib tools for completely DE-agnostic color
management. First one tells programs like darktable about monitor's ICC
profile, second one loads VCGT from ICC profile to video card (so you
should put them both in .xinitrc).

Obvious solution is to remove auto-applied profiled denoise preset and
add it only in the final stages of development, which also will improve
DT speed in darkroom mode.

On OS X all mounted devices can be found in /Volumes directory. So you
have to go back to the root of file system in file/dir selection dialog
and look for Volumes.

Current git master uses gtk3, not gtk2. I haven't yet tried building it
on OS X (or Linux for that matter actually).

Why would you want to set PPI to 72 for web content? It doesn't matter
at all unless you print. And even then this metadata is usually
overridden by print settings.

Hello everybody,

some widgets still being rendered pixelated there might be more serious

when it hangs, run "killall -s SEGV darktable-bin". It should result in
crash dialog appearing from which you can get crash report with

Hi.
You shouldn't build DT with non-system C++ compiler because you have to
link to system libstdc++ (build system tries to make sure that you're
linking against /usr/lib/libstdc++.dylib, not any other, that's why
you're seeing this error). You can however use GCC from macports as C
compiler, set
