Using Darktable 1.2.3 on (64bit) LinuxMint 15 with Nvidia 313-30 graphics driver. Just getting to grips with Darktable after fitting a Nvidia GT620 graphics card for opencl and I'm getting an odd result. With opencl off Denoise (profiled) wavelet takes 14.4 seconds to run through a 24Mb raw im

these graphs look broken. are you profiling developed raws? or jpgs? make sure there are no other files in a new empty directory but your raws.. especially no xmp files. oh, and maybe make sure darktable has no output profile override set in the export module when you close it before running gen-pr

without looking at the raw i think you didn't overexpose the image enough, that's usually the reason. we want to span the whole dynamic range, so your best bet is probably to shoot out of your window into some bright sky and include dark stuff in the foreground. oh, and make it all as blurry as pos
