But with 3 screens what have you on you're height resolution?
I have also a 2 screen setup (2x 1920x1080 @ left-right)
if it was possible that darktable can use the two montitor than i have
still 1080 in height ;-)
And if you need the tools than you have to hovver the mouse verry far

It is possible with Gnome (gnome-color-management package).
Myself, I use Fedora with a Cinnamon (= Gnome-based) desktop and it seems
to work fine.

Of course it is useful. Even with 4K displays there are many people using more
than one monitor. At work I use a 3-monitor setup which is already to small.
At home I have a 2-monitor version but I want to upgrade to 3 times 27".
I would be very happy to have multi monitor features in darktable.
I have a "big" screen connected to my laptop, and it is the only one I use
to work on my pictures.
And for any program but darktable, I use the laptop screen to display tools
panel and such, so the big one displays image or whatever document
full-screen.

Hi.
Are there any plans to take advantage of multiple monitor setups, in DT?
I'm thinking having the image or lighttable in one monitor and the modules
in another... I'm guessing this requires a lot of rethinking of the UI
since its layout is geared towards a single screen.
