olson data availability?

Has anyone else experienced problems retrieving the Olson data lately? The docs say go here: ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/ But it has been inaccessible over the last few days. I can't build the DateTime suite properly! Is there a workaround besides editing Makefile.PL? Will the availability of t

DateTime.pm claims to have a now() method equivalent to from_epoch() -- but there is no now(). Are there plans to use the request tracker on CPAN for this kind of thing, or this list the appropriate forum for now? (for the record, I like the notion of a now() method) Thanks, Matt
