The more memory the better, this goes for all database based systems. In your setting 1 gig seems to litte. For spam filtering: it would help to put this on a different machine. Spam filtering is quite IO intensive as is DBmail so you might want to do that on a different machine. Best regards,

Hi Micah, What version are you using? There was a 'bug' in previous version which was caused by \0 in a the pipe stream from postfix. The dbmail-smtp program assumed that this could not be happening. This should however be fixed in the newest release. What dbase are you using as backend? Best re

It seems that outlook express is handling this the wrong way. It seems to be opening a connection for every move (which is actually a copy / delete command).
