i recently downloaded a partial of this show from archive. does more
exist? it is a great audience tape.
i am about to trade with someone that has copies of
1/8/66,2/5/66,2/25/66,3/19/66,4/23/66,5/25/66,6/3/66,7/1/66,10/2/66,8/6/67,10/31/67+12/13/67.
the info for those years states that there were no existing recordings
as of 1998. have some surfaced?thx!
if you listen carefully to the tape/cd. there is a tape pause which
leads to cables being jostled and the wmal-fm announcement and then what
sounds like an intro to "he's gone" and then back to tuning for the
third song. wmal is currently an am station, who knows what it was in
1972. am in more
i am almost certain that the radio station chatter on the tape was
caused by the mic cables, amplifiers or other electric equipment picking
up the am signal. i am almost certain that there was + still is a
large radio tower on the au campus. there is a good chance that wmal
b'cast from that tower
