Greetings,
So I finally got cfal(rtl) working properly, and uploaded. And it
works, for small programs. Cool!
So now I'm trying to get PETSc working with cfal/ccc, which involves
building C binaries linked against C and FORTRAN objects in libs built
by ccc and fort. But I keep running up aga

I have yet another alpha question. As before, I'm running a DEC Alphastation
250 with Debian testing. The kernel is 2.4.13 with devfs and SCSI tape
drivers built into the kernel, and the SCSI driver is an NCR53c810.
I'm attempting to dump the entire machine to a DEC tape drive (TLZ07). It's a

I am running Mozilla 0.9.5 (Galeon, actuall
I had a similar problem after installing the rpm on a RH 6.2 system for
a few Mozilla builds including 0.9.5. I had previously tried running the
Tru64 Netscape 4.7x binaries without luck. I found that if I deleted my

thinking it is actually the Alpha RPM build off www.mozilla.org using
Alien or just rpm itself.

I'm running Debian (testing) on my PWS500au (1.5 Gb ram, 45 Gb disks).
The only thing I'm missing to dump my x86 system is a graphical
web-browser. links and lynx are very nice, and I use them daily, but
they're not always the first choice.
I run the latest XFree (4.1.0-9) on a Matrox Millennium I
