What is the best way to cope with a package that will not upgrade?
For example:
# # apt-get upgrade

I think we missed the point, we must remember some people prefer his
OS pure, with no comercial software,
ACK, of course this is a worthy goal. But you shouldn't pursue it for
the wrong reasons. :)

Well there was a problem with earlier versions of the nvidia package in
unstable/testing which was recently fixed in unstable. The workaroudn
was:

ln -s nvidia-kernel.tar.gz nvidia-kernel-source.tar.gz
