ftp. This will fail for people behind many firewalls.
Shouldn't it use --passive-ftp by default? AFAIK, turning it on should

S/390 can't reboot the system after the base system has been installed
into /target (because that would mean booting from a different device
than the boot-floppies did and that's not supported by the kernel) so
I'm thinking of just making /target the new root file system and skip
the reboot

I am having nightmares trying to install Debian 2.2.R3 from CD onto
a Compaq Proliant 1600 with a smart-array controller 221 with two SCSI drives.
Using on-screen help (F1), I was able to specify the sym53c8xx SCSI controller
module at the boot prompt...and it appeared to load
