I tried debian-installer beta1 CD (net-install), and it worked on
first stage. :-)
(I reported font problem already.)
But I noticed second stage (after reboot) had a problem for non-Latin
users (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and other non-Latin peop

Could somebody add the URL for the daily-built images
(http://people.debian.org/~sjogren/d-i/images/daily/) back to the website?
They seem to have been removed, and they are useful for people who want to
test the d-i beta via netboot or floppy.

What is the current status on alpha? (The ports page say that the images are
bootable, but not much more.) I have access to an AS2100 (SRM-based, in other
words) and could probably help testing/fixing bugs if the Alpha guys need it
to get on the beta 2 release.

I have just tried the new beta images and the keyboard problem no
longer occurs. I no longer have to select a USB keyboard language
before selecting whether I have a USB or AT keyboard.

reiserfs; vfat and jfs are so quick it doesn't need progress, and xfs seems

with both the current sid version debian-installer-20031106.1 and a
cvs checkout (about 2003-11-10 07:00 UTC) running "fakeroot make image":
