Hi,
I'm wondering whether d-i team would like to accept out-of-tree kernel
module udeb for certain features, for example ZFS support? And if the
answer is yes, what's the best way of doing it?

Hi Turbo,
Thank you for doing this really quickly, but it's not said that binary
udeb is totally impossible (here I'm not saying it's okay, either),
though Debian cannot disclose the legal analysis at this moment. So
let's hold this stuff for a moment, it's not in a hurry anyway (after

Well I'm quite confident that the result will be positive so far, :-)

be nice to confirm that whether btrfs for /boot is supported now. If a

Hi,
The Linux kernel's vlan udeb is added in linux/3.2.35-1, so there is
no outside thing to block us from adding vlan support to netcfg, can
anyone review the patch?

I'm sending a reminder on this issue, it would be best if d-i can
support VLAN using expert mode of installation, configuring VLAN using
iproute2 during installation is much more annoying comparing to

selection of chinese-t task, and I just did a minor change to the old
one by installing im-config and IM Modules by default. I know that
gcin is again included in Debian but it's a bit hard for me to judge

c) Traditional Chinese community is still discussing about what
default input method they want to have in the task, so this part may
change later. Currently it's the defaults used in Ubuntu. (See: Bug #680668)
