Ben Collins answer to #59439 seems to make sense to me. I tested all
this and, with the default setting of TTYPERM 0600 we have in Debian,
users cannot use write to another use

You have a build dependency on the virtual package java-compiler.
This basicly mean that any package providing it should work
for it. However, you really should tell the buildd's which one
to use. This is what you can get now:

ndtpd is missing at least dependecies on netbase (for update-inetd)
and adduser.
It also uses the script syslog-facility which is only provided by
sysklogd, not by other syslog implementations...
