Package: geomview
Version: 1.8.1-12
Severity: minor
geomview puts a number of files in /usr/lib/geomview with names such
as .geomview-sweep. chkrootkit flags these up as being suspicious,
and indeed it is unusual to have dot-files installed by a package.
Any chance of changing this?

Your package fails to build with G++ 4.1. I'm filing this bug as
important for now, but when 4.1 will be the default compiler in
unstable (probably in a few weeks) I'll upgrade this to serious.
A patch is below.

Hi,
This is a known problem, which appears on some machines but not some
others, depending on... Well, nobody seems to actually know what's wrong.
Thanks for the report.

I'm using Debian testing on a Dell Optiplex GX280 desktop machine with

This package is arch: any but it doesn't (afaik) include any

find some Perl scripts in the package.
I see the script does some detection but none seems architecture
specific.
