Isn't "/usr/local/share/tasksel" enough for you? I think we've similar
use case scenarios, could you tell me exactly the one you had in mind

the very same bug is reported in ubuntu, see [1]. The reporter says, that the
issue is fixed with upstream's 3.2.0b6, so I closed the bug in ubuntu.
